Thoughts on Brief

Welcome to my blog for 'The Language of Advertising'. This is where I will be using studio lighting to create my own advertising campaign.

I think that this project is completely open to interpretation, enabling me to go down any route I am interested in, for example fashion and make-up. I am looking forward to putting the skills I have learnt in to practice when working in the studio, working with different models and post production work on photoshop. I have put together a pinterest board for blogging my main inspiration which has helped me to come up with an idea and concept for this project. The images to the right and below have been some of my main inspirations and I hope to follow this up by creating my own magazine cover. I am feeling enthusiastic about being able to advertise almost anything and gaining inspiration that wil influence my choices of artist research. I will research different magazines, however, I think I will work towards i-D or Dazed&Confused, certainly more contemporary and leading-edge magazines that suit me and my style.
